Born in 1965 and raised on the west coast of Norway, 30 min drive North of Bergen on an island called Holsnøy. Wilfred Berthelsen has always been fascinated by the nature and what’s living in it. For the last decades, he has travelled around the world with his camera, from the Arctic in the North to Antarctica in the South. After several workshops with his mentor Morten Krogvold, Wilfred started to get more involved in fine art photography and black and white images. He feels the urge to create something, use his creativity and communicate something to other people. Photographers like Salgado, Kenna and Adams are his sources of inspiration.
